True summit or bust - a lonely trooper sitting by the edge of the Arctic ice was airlifted by a Russian rescue helicopter today according to AFP. The helicopter reached Thomas Ulrich just before midnight local time and took him to Sredny. Elsewhere, world media was exposed by an 85 year old lady wearing a Mammut jacket; in Pakistan the new expeditions list is up and the climbing season is around the corner.
