Posted: Dec 11, 2007 11:35 pm EST
(MountEverest.net) Last week ExWeb reported that Shisha Pangma has been summited this fall from the south side. On October 4th two Argentine climbers, Alfredo Cevallos and Federico Sacchi reportedly summited Shisha repeating the 1982 British route (Scott, Macintyre and Baxter-Jones).
Also Basque and Korean climbers climbed via Shisha's south face this fall, and here go details on them, courtesy of Rodrigo Granzotto Peron from Brazil:
Korean summiteers (October 5):
1. Kim Jae-Soo
2. Go Mi-Sun
3. Tarke Sherpa
4. Jumic Bhote
5. Tshering Jangbu Sherpa
Basque summiteers (October 8):
1. José Ramón "Koke" Lasa
2. Alex Txikon
Also Josef Moravec might have summited with the Spanish, although this is not yet confirmed.
This gives a total of 7 (or 8 summits) through the South Face of Shisha between 5 and 8 of October, and 9 (or 10) total this fall.
