Annapurna: ExWeb community call for strong and acclimatized climbers still in Nepal

(Story edited 4:50 am EDT: Bogomolov has been airlifted from KTM earlier this morning, accompanied by two other climbers, towards Annapurna BC) A rescue effort is ongoing on Annapurna 1. Two climbers from a nearby route will attempt to reach Inaki's team today (local time) at 7400 meters on the south wall.
Meanwhile in Kathmandu, Serguey Bogomolov is looking for experienced and acclimatized climbers to form a back-up rescue team. If the situation remains unresolved by tomorrow, Bogomolov's team would be airlifted from KTM to Annapurna to aid in the efforts.
If you are a strong and acclimatized climber still in the city or on a trek in the area, and would be willing to participate in Bogomolov's party, pls email RussianClimb at info@russianclimb.com; or ExWeb (US) at team@explorersweb.com; or ExWeb (Europe) angela@explorersweb.com.
Inaki and Horia were forced to abort short of summit due to frostbite and running out of rope. The two returned to high camp while third team member Alexei Bolotov continued the summit push. The latest report from the team stated that Inaki had become seriously ill in camp. The climbers' sat phone batteries have gone flat since; thus it's unclear if they are re-united and/or on descent at this point.
