(K2Climb.net) After their August 1 summit of Gasherbrum IV via the NW Ridge (the third conquest of this 1986`s route), Alberto Iñurrategi, Jose Carlos Tamayo, Ferran Latorre, Juan Vallejo and Miguel Zabaleza ran into a very tough and complicated descent. Ferran Latorre was hit in the leg by a falling rock and suffered a wound. The team managed to bring him down and reached BC August 2nd.
