Himalaya wrap-up: let the winter games begin!

(MountEverest.net) Jagged Globe summited Ama Dablam on Monday and with that the fall Himalayan season has come to an end.
The Czech climbers are expected to land in Kathmandu this week, with sights set on winter Manaslu.
Ama Dablam: Jagged Globe’s December summits
“On Saturday (Nov 29th) and Monday(Dec 1st) seven members of our team summited Ama Dablam, together with expedition leader, Caroline Ogden IFMGA and members of our Sherpa team,” Jagged Globe home team reported.
FTA: Lobuche central summit and re-routing flights home
FTA reached the central summit of Lobuche (6,000+ m). Lhakpa Sherpa scouted the route beyond to the true summit, finding unstable conditions. "Rarely do climbing teams reach the central summit," reported FTA, "in fact, Lhakpa Sherpa has climbed Lobuche 16 times and never reached it before."
Back in Kathmandu, some climbers tried to re-route home-flights to avoid Thailand, where protesters kept airports closed until Tuesday.
Winter Manaslu: Czechs ready to go
“Sherpas are on the way to Sama village and to BC - we hope,” the Czech team reported. “We can now pack our equipment and go to the airport. Evererything is arranged. If we have forgotten anything – perhaps it’s because we didn’t really need it.”
Upcoming winter expeditions on 8000es
Artur Hajzer will lead Robert Szymczak and Don Bowie for a winter attempton Broad Peak; Jacek Teler will lead a team on Nanga Parbat. Simone Moro will attempt Makalu, teaming up with Denis Urubko. Pavel Krupièka, Jan Krabec and Milan Wlasák will atempt Manaslu.
