Lincoln Hall update and media heads up: No need for helicopter, images and film soon available
Posted: May 27, 2006 05:02 am EDT
Duncan Chessel just reported the following: "Jamie called again from ABC. He has just visited with Alex Abramov. Lincoln is good, he may even walk out later today. The doctor is just dressing his fingers he has some frostbite, but the next few weeks will tell the status."
"There is in Jamie's opinion no need for a helicopter rescue. It would appear that Lincoln would probably be able to walk out well ahead of a helicopter and it could prove a waste of time with clouds coming in."
"Alexander Abramov, the expedition leader, also stated that he will post a picture of Lincoln very soon on the expedition websites (in the links section below image) or direct to Explorers web."
"An expedition film maker is filming the entire event and will have a complete record of the rescue and ABC to Kathmandu for the record."
