Everest's most dangerous individual, Henry Todd - Commercial expedition leader Henry Todd has been in jail for running the world’s biggest LSD lab, is currently involved in a possible court case for the death of a climber, has sold fake Poisk oxygen to Everest climbers, been banned from Nepal in the past for assaulting one of his own clients, and more - This year he will try again to come back and lead another expedition on Everest. Everest Base Camp Clinic - The doc is in! Luanne Freer and her crew has arrived in base camp and are setup. They already helped evacuate one person who came down with HAPE - he has descended and recovered. Ocean Rowing update - After 129 days at sea Andrew Halsey's Pacific Ocean row is over. Andy was pickup by a fishing vessel and transferred to a US Coast Guard Cutter. The boat is currently en route to Guatemala where Andy will make his first landfall since starting out from Peru. Unfortunately Andrew's ocean rowboat, "The Brittany Rose," was cast adrift. Everest 2003 - Teams are arriving in base camp on an almost daily basis. Lots are reporting that there is more snow than normal in the Khumbu. So far there has been no sign of the Base Camp Internet Cafe, however, the Base Camp Bar was a big hit until it sold out on its first night. Paradigm shift in expedition communication - Thanks to Contact 2.0, for the first time ever there are 'extreme blogs,' with live video from some of the earth's wildest places direct to the internet. IceWarrior recovers - Jim McNeil came down with a flesh eating disease this past week that stemmed from a blister on his ankle.
