Pakistan update: closing the games

(Newsdesk) The Pakistan climbing season is coming to an end. Only a few climbers remain.

On K2, an international team outfitted by Jasmine Tours (Al, Adam, Chris) is making a last ditch attempt.

The Czech Nanga Parbat Expedition had to abort for bad weather and returned home.

A handful of climbers remain on Broad Peak. A Taiwanese expedition returned from the peak without success and were treated to dinner by ACP at a Chinese restaurant in Islamabad. This expedition was outfitted by lelapeakexpedition.com.

Kyle Dempster summited K7 and is currently attempting Latok.

Russian trio Dmitry Golovchenko, Alexander Lange and Sergei Kotachkov are still attempting Muztagh Tower.

The French Trango Air wall attempt topped out but the jump was cancelled for poor conditions.

2012 Atunas Taiwanese Broad Peak Expedition, Chung Da, Chin Chan Lien, Chou Min Chuang, Wen Chen Huang at closing dinner with Col.Manzoor Hussain (President ACP) and Abuzafar Sadiq (Secretary ACP). Executive Council Members Karrar Haidri and Abdul Qadir were also present.
